The letters and numbers refer to Chicago’s public radio stations. At first (or even second) glance, this colorful, towering sculpture of jumbled letters and numbers may appear very random and illegible. However, looking at it from the right perspective, it clearly has the frequency and call sign of Chicago Radio 95.1 WBEZ FM written, which is an NPR station. Created by Chicago native John Adduci and has been in existence since 1996, the sculpture randomly changes locations in and around Navy Pier.
